Rabiya Bilfaqi was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2017 and concentrates her practice of law in the areas of medical malpractice, long term care litigation, premises liability, and appeals. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Ms. Bilfaqi earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with Honors, in 2012 and her Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law in 2016. During law school, she received CALI awards in Advanced Trial Advocacy and Pre-Trial Civil Litigation, was the president of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, served as a research assistant for Property Law, and was a member of the Black Law Student Association Mock Trial Team. Ms. Bilfaqi was also a Dean’s Merit Scholar recipient and received the distinction of Dean's List for multiple semesters. She worked for Anderson, Rasor & Partners, LLP, throughout law school as a paralegal, and assisted in the defense of nursing homes, hospitals, and physicians. Ms. Bilfaqi is a member of the American Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
