Jillian Taylor was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2006 and concentrates her practice of law in the areas of Long Term Care and Medical Malpractice Litigation. Ms. Taylor previously worked as a litigation and trial attorney with a Chicago law firm, focusing on Insurance Defense and Long Term Care Litigation, before becoming in-house counsel for a local health care corporation. Originally from Plainfield, Illinois, Ms. Taylor earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal/Social Justice from Lewis University in 2003, with Highest Honors. During her time at Lewis University, she was a member of the women's golf team. Ms. Taylor earned the honor of Great Lakes Valley Academic All-Conference all four years and was also champion of the 2002 North Central College Invitational. Ms. Taylor obtained her Juris Doctorate from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota in 2006. She was a member of the Journal of Public Law and Policy from 2004 through 2006, serving as both an Associate and Primary Editor. Her law school distinctions also include the Dean’s Honor Roll and the CALI award in Commercial Paper.
