Candice C. Rudd was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2015 and the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois in 2016. She concentrates her practice in the areas of Medical Malpractice Litigation, Hospital Liability Defense, and Long-Term Care Litigation. Candice was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and received her B.A. from Spelman College. She received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she chaired alumni planning for the school’s Black Law Students Association (BLSA). While at Loyola, Candice received high marks in trial advocacy and advanced writing for civil litigation, and she was a dean’s list student.

Candice is a member of the Chicago Bar Association (CBA) and the Black Women Lawyer’s Association (BWLA). She is an Investigator for the Judicial Evaluation Committee with the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) which conducts evaluations of candidates for judicial offices and sitting judges seeking retention within Cook County. Candice also tutors law students preparing for the Illinois bar exam through Minority Legal Education Resources (MLER) at Northwestern University School of Law.
